HYDRO - LIGHT UP FREESTYLE

Hydro is expected to do big things in the coming years for Grime. After winning a competition to get on the Shank soundtrack he has shot to fame and has released a very good mixtape called On This Ting.


This is a freestyle of Light Up which is a Drake tune, showing the direction that Hydro will probably go in. However it is a good freestlye and Hydro manages to do a good job with his flow and his lyrics.

Unbelievably Wiley still feels the need to release free tracks after his 12 free mixtapes, the Zip Files, contained over 200 unreleased tunes.


Now Wiley tweeted that he has made available 3 more tracks, two tunes and one instrumental.


These tracks are not the best from Wiley but everybody loves a free download especially when it is from the founder of Grime. Wiley has got to be shown respect for all the work he has been putting in lately, with the Zip Files and numerous free downloads after.

A new video from Wiley now called 'From The Drop', also featuring MJ Cole.
This isn't the best tune from Wiley, but as we all know he has a lot to live up too if he wants to top his previous songs. But this tune has a nice beat but not the best lyrics from Wiley.

SKRILLEX - KILL EVERYBODY

Skrillex brings us a very dirty Dubstep tune called 'Kill Everybody'. His trippy, dark, grim sound comes off on the song with the sample going "I want to kill everybody in the world"


This is a nice little tune and thought it deserves an upload as it will appeal to a variety of people.

GRIMINAL, LIL NASTY, SHRIMPOS & TINY - JUMP [OFFICIAL VIDEO]

Here we have got the brand new video from Griminal, Lil Nasty, Shrimpos & Tiny entitled 'Jump'. I don't know a lot about Shrimpos but I am a big fan of Griminal & Lil Nasty.




The tune is good, not the best from the Nasty brothers, but still has a good flow on top of the nice beat and everyone of them drops a standard verse.

SKEPTA - AMNESIA LIVE PERFORMANCE

A big treat for you Grimestepper's today, a performance from the one and only Skepta, a song off his new album 'Doin' It Again' called Amnesia.


It was performed at the MOBOs and is about waking up after a heavy night out and realising all the shit that happened.


It sounds like it is going to be a hit, as usual with the more recent Skepta there is someone else on the tune doing the chrous, but he still manages to kill it with the verses.


Doin It Again is due for release in January 2011 and is sure to be a hit album following Skepta's recent signing to Diddy's label 'Bad Boy Records'


7/10 due to the dodgy recording.

GRAMATIK - LIQUEFIED - OFF NO SHORTCUTS ALBUM

Taken from the album 'No Shortcuts', Gramatik brings us a sick 75 BPM banger called Liquefied. 


With samples from The Notorious BIG and what i think is Twista included and a sick baseline and orchestral sound, this tune really delivers.

The Delivery 2 is the second in the series from Sway DaSafo and it is a typical mixtape from Sway.


You get his hip-hop flow, couple of decent samples, nice metaphors and good beats. However as people know Sway may not be considered as Grime and you can tell on this mixtape.

Stutta releases a free 12 track mixtape for your ears only.

I'm not the biggest fan of Stutta but this mixtape certainly delivers. The only song I really liked from Stutta before was 'Don't Piss Me Off', but now I can add at least 5 songs to that list thanks to this mixtape.

With features from Ghetts, Rapid, Roachee & Fuda Guy, this mixtape was promising big things and managed to fulfill that statement.

The Come Up EP

Still only a teenager, big things are expected from Maxsta, and you can see why by the amount of work he is putting in.
7 months after releasing 'The Maxtape', Maxsta has released a free 14 track mixtape for download.
The Come Up EP features vocals from Dolla Da Dustman, S-H & Maverick Sabre, and features SX, Z-Dot, Bless Beats & Wizzy Wow on production.
However this is all about Maxsta and he continuously goes in on this mixtape, with a good flow and good lyrics.
